This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• Collaborate on Juniper Square’s strategy, positioning, and messaging for the private equity sector, defining a unique value proposition for each stakeholder within the PE buying group, including CFOs, COOs, Heads of Finance and Fund Operations, Investor Relations, and technical evaluators.
• Develop the PE persona and industry playbooks, identifying buyer and influencer roles, priorities, objections, and content requirements at every stage of the sales journey.
• Work closely with Sales leadership and top performers to co-create effective collateral that secures PE deals, including executive briefs, ROI narratives, competitive battlecards, and stakeholder-specific presentations tailored for each buying process stage.
• Serve as the internal authority on PE deal dynamics, actively contributing to the development of messaging and strategy for high-stakes opportunities.
• Perform in-depth voice-of-customer research through customer interviews, win/loss analysis, and Sales feedback to continually enhance our understanding of PE personas and use cases.
• Manage competitive intelligence for the PE segment and share actionable insights with Sales, Growth Marketing, and Product teams to ensure alignment in our go-to-market approach based on the actual buying behaviors of PE firms.
• Leverage AI agents and tools as essential resources for researching accounts and synthesizing customer and competitive information, which significantly speeds up the creation of messaging and enablement materials.
• Exercise discernment in evaluating AI outputs: recognize where automation can enhance productivity and where human insight is crucial.
• Collaborate with Demand Generation to anchor PE campaigns in strong, persona-relevant messaging and provide inputs that drive message-market fit.
• Partner with Product to convert complex platform capabilities into clear and impactful value propositions for PE buyers.
• Assist Customer Marketing in highlighting PE customer stories that reinforce our messaging with real-world evidence.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience within the private equity ecosystem is essential (working at a PE firm, a fund administrator, or a company servicing PE); a deep understanding of how these firms operate, who the buyers are, and what their priorities entail is required.
• Experience in B2B product marketing or go-to-market strategy roles is beneficial but not mandatory, with a strong inclination towards supporting Sales and influencing deal results.
• Proficiency with AI: experience utilizing large language models, agents, and AI automation tools to significantly expedite your work, and an awareness of where human judgment is vital.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; the capability to translate intricate market insights into clear and persuasive go-to-market artifacts.
