This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Design the Playbook: Establish our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), create our outreach sequences, and develop the foundational sales materials (presentations, demonstrations, white papers).
• Complete Ownership: Manage the entire cycle from initial cold outreach and technical exploration to procurement and closing the deal.
• Engage with Stakeholders: Attend the places where our buyers congregate - conferences, dinners, and industry events. A significant portion of our pipeline will be generated through the relationships you cultivate in person rather than solely through sequences.
• Feedback Mechanism: Transform complex objections from prospects into actionable product insights. You serve as a liaison between "market demands" and "product development."
• Technology Stack Leadership: Establish the go-to-market (GTM) stack (including CRM, data enrichment, and sequencing tools) focusing on automation and accurate data from Day 1.
• Early-Stage Experience: 4-8 years in a relevant role, preferably as a founding or early sales member at a high-growth Series A/B startup. You have witnessed the shift from "founder-led selling" to a scaled GTM approach.
• Entrepreneurial Spirit: Extra points if you’ve started your own venture. Regardless, you have experience selling without a brand backing you—just pure conviction—and understand the effort involved.
• Relationship-Oriented: You prioritize building genuine trust over time instead of focusing on volume, and your most successful deals arise from individuals who have faith in you.
• AI and Technology Savvy: You are well-versed in the current AI landscape. You can discuss the trade-offs of various LLMs or integration strategies with a CTO without needing a Sales Engineer to assist.
• Builder Mentality: You find repetitive tasks (like lead sourcing) tedious enough to want to automate them, yet you are resourceful enough to handle them manually if it leads to closing a deal.
• Outstanding Communication Skills: You express yourself with clarity and impact. Whether crafting a LinkedIn post, writing a cold email, or preparing a Board update, your communication abilities are a key strength.
• Flexible working arrangements: Collaborative in-person meetings in the Bay Area, a globally distributed team, and quarterly offsite gatherings.
• Exploration Passport: Annual travel allowance to visit a new country. As we develop intelligence that adapts with you, we encourage you to continue broadening your perspectives.
• Meal Allowance: Weekly stipend for take-out or grocery shopping.
• Health and Wellness: Comprehensive medical coverage and generous paid time off.
