This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Develop and implement a tailored marketing strategy that aligns with the central approach to ensure effective market entry and product positioning.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for local marketing efforts and assess performance to promote ongoing enhancements.
• Design and execute a localized Annual Marketing Plan (AMP) consistent with the global AMP, emphasizing new product launches and local commercialization strategies.
• Coordinate the marketing plan with key organizational stakeholders to guarantee cohesive execution and mutual support.
• Systematically gather and analyze market insights, customer feedback, and competitor activities to adapt the marketing strategy as necessary.
• Share insights throughout the organization to refine products and strategies, ensuring the company stays competitive and responsive to market demands.
• Monitor business performance by analyzing key metrics to pinpoint opportunities, risks, and areas for enhancement.
• Offer actionable recommendations to boost growth, market share, and customer satisfaction.
• Actively engage in local congresses, industry events, and conferences to remain informed about industry trends, new technologies, and competitor actions.
• Cultivate strong relationships with customers, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and emerging influencers in the market to support business development.
• Collaborate closely with the sales team by co-traveling to customer sites to identify business opportunities and gather insights that influence product and strategy decisions.
• Participate in customer-facing events and assist sales teams in their efforts to drive revenue and strengthen relationships.
• Develop and implement a local medical education (MedEd) strategy in partnership with associates and the events team, ensuring timely and complete execution of educational initiatives.
• Modify global marketing materials to suit local market requirements while ensuring compliance with local regulations and organizational standards.
• Acquire an in-depth understanding of the products and provide training and support to both sales teams and customers, addressing product-related inquiries and offering technical expertise.
• Collaborate with sales and supply chain teams to ensure effective inventory management and product availability for customers.
• Assist with supply chain-related tasks, including forecasting and resolving potential supply issues.
• Work closely with sales, marketing, and brand teams to ensure alignment in implementing marketing and business strategies.
• Contribute to internal communication efforts by providing relevant content for newsletters and other informational materials to engage with the broader community.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Science, Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred or equivalent work experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience is required.
• Experience in the Medical Device industry is essential.
• Background in orthopaedic and shoulder surgery is advantageous.
• Proven history of driving profitable growth, introducing new products, and creating and executing successful marketing strategies at both regional and local levels.
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal communication skills are necessary.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are required.
• Capability to manage multiple projects while meeting established deadlines.
• Ability to persuade in the absence of organizational authority.
• Must be adept at understanding and navigating complex interdivisional procedures and policies.
• A proven record of ethical behavior in previous roles is essential.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor others effectively.
• Proven capacity to communicate with senior leaders.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, & PowerPoint).
