Senior Product Manager – Trust & Safety, AI Platforms

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Assume complete ownership of trust, safety, and compliance features on a large-scale AI consumer platform.

• Define, prioritize, and implement the product roadmap for safety-related functionalities.

• Collaborate directly with engineering teams to design, develop, implement, and enhance safety features.

• Lead product initiatives focused on AI content moderation, age verification, and red-teaming capabilities.

• Translate safety requirements and regulatory considerations into actionable product specifications and deliverable solutions.

• Make independent product decisions that balance user safety, regulatory compliance, and impacts on commercial and user experience.

• Define and optimize content detection thresholds and moderation decision criteria.

• Evaluate and manage false positives and false negatives in automated safety systems.

• Design and enhance human review workflows and escalation mechanisms.

• Collaborate with technical teams to assess the effectiveness of moderation and identify areas for improvement.

• Evaluate the operational and product implications of various safety controls.

• Work closely with the CTO, Legal & Safety Lead, and Product Lead on safety priorities and regulatory challenges.

• Assess risks related to AI-generated content and emerging platform safety issues.

• Review sensitive user reports and safety incidents when necessary to guide product decisions.

• Take responsibility for feature delivery, implementation quality, and measurable safety outcomes.

• Continuously enhance safety systems as the platform expands and regulatory requirements evolve.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional Product Management experience, including significant ownership of product decisions, delivery, and outcomes.

• Proven track record of independently owning and delivering product features rather than solely coordinating teams or documenting requirements.

• Strong knowledge of trust and safety, platform safety, or regulatory challenges within digital products.

• Demonstrated ability to make practical safety and regulatory trade-offs, with concrete examples of decisions made and their outcomes.

• Solid technical understanding of safety systems, including detection thresholds, false positives, false negatives, and human review processes.

• Ability to work directly with engineers to design and deliver technically complex product features.

• Strong product judgment with the capacity to balance regulatory obligations, user protection, and product performance.

• Experience in translating complex safety or compliance requirements into actionable product development initiatives.

• Capability to independently prioritize product work, make decisions, and take responsibility for results.

• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and cross-functional stakeholder management abilities.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, product, legal, and safety stakeholders.

• Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced, high-growth technology setting.

• Currently located in Europe and available to work entirely remotely.

• Willingness to engage under a full-time B2B contractor agreement.
