Senior AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Provide technical guidance for the design and advancement of the AI agent platform.

• Develop solutions for orchestration, tool integration, and knowledge retrieval.

• Establish methodologies for assessing, monitoring, and continually enhancing agent quality, reliability, and cost efficiency.

• Ensure the implementation of security, governance, traceability, and data isolation across all solutions.

• Promote the advancement of the team's engineering practices through specification-driven development and structured coding agent usage.

• Contribute to the Orbit product.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in TypeScript or substantial experience with another typed language, demonstrating the ability to adapt swiftly.

• Demonstrated experience in designing and operating distributed systems and production APIs.

• Practical experience with AI agents and LLMs in production, including tool invocation, context management, and behavioral assessment.

• Strong knowledge of AI-assisted engineering practices, encompassing specifications, testing, critical evaluation, and incremental delivery.

• Capability to make architectural choices, assess trade-offs, and take technical ownership of solutions.

• Autonomy, critical thinking skills, and the capacity to tackle complex issues and ambiguous requirements.

• Familiarity with NestJS, hexagonal architecture, and protocols like MCP is advantageous.

• Experience with observability, evaluation, and security for LLM-based systems is a plus.

• Background in B2B SaaS, multi-tenancy, and Brazil’s LGPD is a plus.

• Experience in developing internal tools and frameworks to enhance engineering team productivity is a plus.
