This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +5 more states.
• Develop and implement platform product strategy that aligns with the company's objectives, market opportunities, and revenue goals.
• Take ownership of and advance the roadmap across essential product areas, including grower workflows, data capabilities, and platform services.
• Spot opportunities to enhance platform features through analytics, integrations, APIs, and data-driven functionalities.
• Engage in customer discovery sessions with growers, agronomists, and agricultural partners to gain a thorough understanding of operational workflows and unmet needs.
• Evaluate customer feedback, usage metrics, and market trends to identify avenues for product enhancement and innovation.
• Convert complex agricultural workflows and data insights into user-friendly digital experiences.
• Oversee product development from the discovery phase to delivery.
• Create clear product requirements, user stories, and success metrics.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and data teams to ensure high-quality product releases.
• Prioritize product initiatives based on customer impact, strategic importance, and technical feasibility.
• Propel the development of scalable platform capabilities such as data ingestion, analytics, APIs, and integrations.
• Work alongside engineering and data science teams to guarantee data reliability, performance, and scalability.
• Establish and monitor product KPIs and usage metrics to facilitate ongoing improvement.
• In collaboration with the GTM leader, identify and curate technology ecosystem partners for hardware resale or data ingestion/integration that improve growers’ in-season decision-making.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Engineering to ensure that product initiatives align with go-to-market strategies and revenue growth.
• Contribute to the pricing, packaging, and commercialization of advanced product capabilities.
• Convey product strategy, roadmap, and performance insights to stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Agriculture, Agronomy, Engineering, or a related discipline).
• Over 10 years of experience in product management, with a proven history of successfully leading and launching complex products involving data platforms, APIs, and SaaS analytics.
• Strong technical proficiency (data pipelines, cloud systems).
• Proven experience working with engineering and data science teams.
• A background in IoT, geospatial, ML, or AgTech is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, utilizing a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Capacity to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
