Senior Product Manager – Sharing, Social

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Sweden.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the complete vision and roadmap for how Spotify content is shared, discovered, and amplified across various platforms.

• Develop the strategy for sharing, encompassing core sharing functionalities, new social formats, collaborative features, and growth loops.

• Investigate how emerging platforms and changing user behaviors impact sharing, particularly among Gen Z and global audiences.

• Spot opportunities to position Spotify at the crossroads of audio and social culture through innovative product initiatives.

• Establish clear success metrics to assess how sharing contributes to acquisition, engagement, and retention.

• Foster strong relationships with external platform partners to facilitate new integrations and experiences.

• Collaborate with Business Development and cross-functional teams to convert partnerships into significant product outcomes.

• Lead cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, data, and research, providing clarity and driving momentum.

• Propose innovative ideas on how AI can enhance sharing experiences, ranging from personalization to content creation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of product management experience with consumer-facing products at scale.

• A solid understanding of how content spreads online and a strong viewpoint on social platforms and digital culture.

• Experience working with external partners or within platform ecosystems and the ability to translate those relationships into impactful products.

• Build trust across teams and unite individuals to advance complex projects.

• Proficient in leveraging data to inform decisions, including experimentation and user behavior analysis.

• Communicate effectively and adjust your message based on the audience.

• Experience in building or contributing to growth loops, sharing features, or products driven by social interaction.

• Inquisitive about how AI can influence future user experiences and eager to explore its possibilities.
