Senior Product Manager – Search Experience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of and enhance the comprehensive search experience – encompassing query input, autocomplete, results pages, filters, and zero-results scenarios across all platforms.

• Influence search relevance and ranking strategies by collaborating closely with data science and machine learning teams to consistently refine how results are interpreted and presented.

• Propel discovery and navigation, allowing customers to transition effortlessly between browsing and searching, particularly in intricate health-related journeys.

• Establish and improve the measurement framework for search, incorporating advanced metrics such as query reformulation rate, zero-results rate, and time to first relevant result.

• Develop and prioritize a high-impact roadmap, balancing immediate wins with long-term investments in search infrastructure, user experience quality, and experimentation.

• You possess strong ownership experience in search or discovery products, with a solid understanding of both ranking logic and user experience components.

• You demonstrate a deeply data-driven approach, with experience in interpreting complex metrics and conducting meaningful experiments beyond surface-level KPIs.

• You are adept at collaborating with data science and machine learning teams and comprehend key concepts such as ranking signals, query understanding, and semantic search.

• You are passionate about crafting intuitive user experiences and have well-defined opinions on how search should function across various devices and use cases.
