Senior Product Manager, Reports

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the comprehensive reporting process — encompassing data models, the user experience for builders, curated reports that operators rely on daily, drill-down functionalities, the mobile interface, and the transition plan from our current state.

• Lead the proactive aspect in collaboration with our AI team — identifying anticipated needs for operators based on their business context and history, along with suggestions that assist them in achieving their objectives.

• Establish a robust data foundation that enables scalability in reporting across the entire restaurant sector (including sales, menu, guests, payouts, labor, and loyalty) to ensure that both components of the product grow over time.

• Position reporting as a key factor in why restaurants select Owner — making it evident in customer feedback, sales discussions, and renewal processes as a reason for their continued partnership.

• Be the strongest advocate for our customers regarding this product. Gather insights from support tickets, ride-alongs, churn discussions, and the current backlog — and translate this information into the next set of priorities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in product management.

• Proven ability to execute: you have a history of delivering software that significantly impacts your customers.

• Strong product sense: you possess a keen understanding of what constitutes a high-quality product and have clear opinions on which solutions will succeed.

• Profound customer empathy: you are passionate about assisting your customers and excel at conducting research to reveal their genuine needs.

• Strong data fluency: you effectively collect and synthesize quantitative and qualitative data to guide your decision-making and refine your intuition.

• Capability to navigate ambiguity: you ensure your objectives are well-defined and demonstrate a high degree of independence in reaching them.

• Excellent written and verbal communication: you are a proponent of clarity and alignment, ensuring that everyone is on the same page.

• Ability to manage technical complexity: you understand the overarching architecture of a product and its impact on customer experience, and you are comfortable discussing project scope and trade-offs with engineers.
