
Senior Product Manager β Platform, Policy, Approval, Inbox

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Create and convey an engaging vision and strategy for the platform's shared services, including policy, workflow (encompassing the approval service), inbox, and notifications, ensuring alignment with the overall objectives of the company.
β’ Partner with customers and both external and internal stakeholders to comprehend end-user requirements and validate product specifications for policy authoring, approval workflows, and notification experiences.
β’ Collaborate with internal business unit product teams to gather their needs, understand their roadmaps, and design shared services that are straightforward to adopt, extend, and build upon.
β’ Lead the creation of a robust and adaptable policy framework that facilitates consistent and auditable policy definition and enforcement across the platform.
β’ Manage the roadmap for workflow and approval services, providing orchestration capabilities that support complex, multi-step approval chains, delegation, escalation, and audit requirements.
β’ Define and enhance the platform inbox and notification services to ensure timely, actionable, and well-governed communications across various channels, featuring sensible defaults and user-level controls.
β’ Advocate for an API-first, self-service design and establish metrics for adoption to gauge success.
β’ Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, including policy-as-code, workflow orchestration patterns, and event-driven architectures, to inform the product roadmap.
β’ Collaborate closely with engineering, design, architecture, and other cross-functional teams to define, prioritize, and deliver features.
β’ A bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred.
β’ Over 5 years of demonstrated experience in product management, particularly focused on platform services, shared/foundational capabilities, or similar domains.
β’ Strong understanding of platform product management principles such as multi-tenancy and API-first design.
β’ Experience in one or more shared-service domains, primarily policy engines, policy-as-code, and workflow orchestration systems.
β’ Knowledge of security, compliance, and audit requirements for enterprise workflows and approvals (e.g., separation of duties, audit trails).
β’ Proven track record of successfully launching platform capabilities to market and promoting their adoption across various product teams.
β’ Familiarity with public cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and event-driven, microservices-based architectures.
β’ Experience in identity security, PAM, or the broader cybersecurity field is a significant advantage.
β’ Pragmatic Marketing/Scrum Product Owner certifications are beneficial.
β’ Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills, along with a curious mindset and a desire to collaborate with a talented team of engineers, designers, and other Product Managers.
