This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Articulate the vision and roadmap for platform-level microservices, determining which features should be developed as platform services from the outset versus those that will evolve from module-specific implementations.
• Manage the API contract strategy by establishing standards for versioning, backward compatibility, and governance of breaking changes across all services.
• Create principles and a governance model for the gradual integration of existing module-level services into shared platform services.
• Lead the development of new platform services in collaboration with architecture and engineering, overseeing the process from discovery to adoption.
• Advocate for an excellent developer experience by ensuring that internal engineering teams have the necessary documentation, contracts, and tools to confidently build against platform services.
• Collaborate with Analytics and Architecture to define and refine the Snowflake lakehouse strategy, infusing product and commercial insights into this technically-driven initiative.
• Oversee the identification process for data products, determining which enriched datasets are monetizable and beneficial for FI, ERP, and other strategic partners.
• Establish data governance requirements for regulated partner use cases, including data lineage, access controls, residency considerations, and consent frameworks.
• Work alongside commercial and partnerships teams to translate data product identification into practical partner offerings.
• Represent the product perspective in the architecture's platform performance and reliability workstream, ensuring that prioritization aligns with actual business impact rather than merely technical preferences.
• Develop visibility into end-of-month latency, load, and scalability challenges; advocate for transparent diagnosis and actionable remediation timelines.
• Specify product requirements for international expansion readiness, including multi-geography, multi-currency, and increased volume support, with a target timeline of late 2026 to early 2027.
• 5–8+ years of experience in product management, particularly in platform, infrastructure, or API-centric product roles.
• Sufficient technical fluency to engage effectively with architecture and engineering on microservices patterns, API design, and the trade-offs of distributed systems — while coding skills are not necessary, an understanding of the decisions is essential.
• Proven experience with data strategy within a product framework, including data pipelines, data warehousing, or data product development.
• A history of influencing without formal authority across engineering, data, and business teams.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, as this role requires creating structure in situations where little currently exists.
• Familiarity with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms in a product or strategic role.
• Knowledge of data monetization, data sharing, or partner data product models, particularly in relation to financial institutions or ERP ecosystem partners.
• Experience with API governance, API versioning strategies, or developer platform products.
• Background in fintech, B2B SaaS, or collaborative commerce platforms is a plus.
• Exposure to regulatory and compliance considerations regarding data sharing, such as SOC 2, data residency, and financial data regulations.
• Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses.
• Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.
• Flexible work hours and remote work options.
• Opportunities for professional development and career growth.
• A vibrant company culture that values innovation and teamwork.
