Senior Product Manager – Plan to Code

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Define and lead the product strategy for experiences that integrate planning, source code management, and AI-enhanced development.

• Contribute to the development of specification-driven workflows that facilitate the transition from requirements to code for teams and AI agents.

• Collaborate with engineering, design, and other product teams to create product experiences that accommodate both human-in-the-loop and autonomous development workflows.

• Partner with teams focused on demos and prototypes, including immediate efforts related to specification-driven planning and autonomous development modes.

• Leverage customer insights, product usage analytics, and market context to pinpoint opportunities that can provide quick value to customers.

• Assist teams in delivering quickly and with high quality, balancing immediate execution with long-term product vision.

• Investigate ways in which planning can better incorporate code reviews, test case evaluations, and validation of outputs produced by agents against desired outcomes.

• Work collaboratively across Plan, Source Code Management, Code Review, and AI product domains to minimize friction throughout the software development lifecycle.


⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience as a product manager in developer tools, DevOps tools, source code management, planning tools, AI-native products, or similar software development lifecycle products.

• Strong comprehension of the software development process from concept and requirements through planning, coding, review, testing, and delivery.

• Experience collaborating with technical product areas and engineering teams, possessing sufficient technical knowledge to understand developer workflows and trade-offs.

• A data-driven approach to product management, including experience in utilizing data to assess customer impact and inform prioritization.

• Comfort in navigating ambiguous environments where clear market patterns or established product categories may not exist.

• Experience in using or developing AI tools, agents, or AI-assisted workflows that extend beyond basic prompting.

• Ability to creatively consider how AI influences the software development lifecycle and how product experiences should evolve accordingly.

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, particularly in a fully remote, asynchronous setting.

• A proactive mindset and the capability to aid teams in delivering significant customer value swiftly.
