Senior Product Manager, Liquid Handling

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the product strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle management for liquid handling and dispensing products, which includes identifying unmet market needs, developing new concepts, positioning products, and creating associated business cases for execution.

• Act as the subject matter expert on liquid handling workflows, application requirements, and customer use cases to ensure the success of our customers.

• Collect and analyze voice-of-customer insights from scientists, automation engineers, lab managers, commercial teams, and strategic partners.

• Collaborate with engineering and applications teams to make informed trade-off decisions regarding performance, usability, reliability, integration, cost, and timelines.

• Perform competitive analysis and monitor relevant market, technology, and customer trends within the life sciences and lab automation sectors.

• Support product launches by developing positioning, messaging, training, and collaborating with marketing and sales on go-to-market strategies.

• Foster alignment among internal stakeholders and help bridge technical product details with broader customer and business value.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as life sciences, engineering, chemistry, biology, biomedical engineering, or a related discipline.

• At least 5 years of experience in product management, product marketing, applications, engineering, or a related role within life sciences instrumentation, lab automation, or liquid handling.

• Proven expertise in liquid handlers and dispensers within a related environment.

• Experience engaging with customers or internal teams in pharmaceutical, biotech, CRO, academic, or other life sciences contexts.

• Strong business acumen, including the ability to evaluate markets, customer segments, competitive positioning, and product value propositions.

• Exceptional cross-functional leadership and communication skills.

• Capability to operate effectively in a matrixed environment and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
