This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of product experiences that impact consumers, agents, and internal teams, consistently linking design and product choices to actual user needs and outcomes.
• Bring a robust consumer perspective to each challenge: champion the end user in prioritization, trade-offs, and roadmap planning.
• Outline the complete journey of a consumer or internal user through Clever's product, pinpointing areas where the experience falters, creates friction, or undermines trust.
• Collaborate with designers and engineers to establish requirements, shape user flows, and deliver experiences that are transparent, dependable, and trustworthy.
• Convert vague user and business challenges into clear specifications, MVPs, and quantifiable results.
• Alleviate friction for internal users (operations, sales, support) by substituting manual processes with well-crafted tools and workflows.
• Establish success metrics that genuinely reflect user experience quality: considering not just engagement or uptime, but whether users achieve the outcomes they seek.
• Leverage AI tools extensively to enhance research, discovery, documentation, prototyping, and analysis.
• Over 5 years of product management experience, with a proven track record of launching user-facing products that are highly appreciated.
• Profound consumer empathy: you instinctively consider the needs of the individual on the receiving end of every decision and can express what they require, even when they may not fully understand it themselves.
• Experience managing the entire product lifecycle: from discovery and definition through to delivery and iteration, driven by real user feedback.
• Capability to think in terms of both user journeys and the underlying systems, recognizing how back-end decisions impact front-line experiences.
• Proven experience in enhancing the experience for internal users through tooling, workflow design, and process enhancements.
• An AI-native approach to work, regularly utilizing AI tools to expedite product development.
• Strong written communication skills: including specifications, problem briefs, trade-off documents, and decision memos.
• Solid business acumen linking experience quality to consumer trust, retention, and revenue generation.
