This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Your primary objective will be to empower n8n enterprise users to view automation as software, allowing them to develop, deploy, and scale mission-critical workflows with complete confidence.
• To achieve this, you will take charge of product strategy and execution for n8n’s Enterprise team, emphasizing application lifecycle management, developer tools, and production-grade workflow operations.
• Define the process for teams to transition workflows from development to production, ensuring clear environment separation and promotion pathways.
• Shape the features related to workflow version history, rollback, branching, and conflict resolution.
• Create product experiences that assist engineering teams in safely managing changes in mission-critical automations.
• Oversee Git-based source control workflows to integrate n8n seamlessly into contemporary software development practices.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering and Design to provide powerful yet user-friendly tools for technical teams.
• Translate intricate developer workflows into product experiences that are reliable, scalable, and easy to adopt.
• Enhance visibility into workflow performance, usage, and reliability across various environments and instances.
• Establish how enterprise teams manage external secrets, variables, and configurations throughout their deployments.
• Assist customers in operating n8n at scale through multi-instance management and cross-instance visibility.
• Engage deeply with enterprise customers, engineering leaders, admins, and developers to comprehend their software delivery requirements.
• Prioritize decisively across technical depth, usability, enterprise readiness, and long-term platform benefits.
• Align Engineering, Design, Sales, Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, and leadership through clear strategies, specifications, and communication.
• Demonstrated product management experience: You have successfully shipped complex technical products in enterprise settings and can highlight lessons learned that have refined your skills.
• Strong developer empathy: You comprehend how engineering teams build, test, version, deploy, and operate software in production environments.
• Flourish in uncertainty: You bring structure to ambiguous technical challenges and prioritize effectively among various potential paths.
• Exceptional product intuition: You foresee edge cases, second-order effects, and enterprise-level reliability needs without requiring perfect information.
• Ownership and proactive attitude: You address issues, deliver, learn, and iterate rather than excessively plan.
• Influence without authority: You align engineering, design, data, sales, solutions engineering, customer success, and documentation through clarity and trust.
• Technical product insight: You are comfortable making trade-offs concerning usability, scalability, security, reliability, and implementation complexity.
• Git and source control knowledge: You have experience working with or closely related to products involving Git, branching, versioning, pull requests, or conflict resolution.
• Enterprise security understanding: You are familiar with secrets management, environment variables, access control, or secure configuration practices.
• Observability knowledge: You have worked on products that include monitoring, usage analytics, performance visibility, or operational dashboards.
• Coding or SQL proficiency: You can code, write SQL, or engage technically enough to collaborate effectively with engineers on architectural discussions.
• Remote work experience: You are accustomed to remote-first work settings and can collaborate efficiently across different time zones.
• Entrepreneurial or early-stage experience: You have taken on various roles and can navigate multiple areas simultaneously.
