This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
β’ Formulate and implement a comprehensive global marketing strategy aimed at developers to enhance awareness, adoption, and advocacy among developers and AI/OpenSource engineers, ensuring our messaging is authentic across various channels and programs.
β’ Spearhead developer acquisition initiatives that yield measurable engagement from developers.
β’ Collaborate with the Demand Generation team on paid marketing efforts targeting developers, which includes advertising campaigns for AI/OpenSource developers, sponsorship opportunities, and innovative acquisition channels.
β’ Manage the strategy for developer events, encompassing conference sponsorships, speaking opportunities, workshops, and creative activations that highlight use cases.
β’ Build and maintain a dynamic developer community through events, forums, hackathons, and online resources.
β’ Cultivate and maintain significant relationships with AI/OpenSource developer communities and influencers (such as AI research labs, Twitter, universities, etc.), ensuring awareness of where practitioners are located.
β’ Supervise the development of technical content, tutorials, sample applications, and additional resources that empower developers to effectively utilize our products.
β’ Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing teams to ensure alignment on messaging and a unified go-to-market strategy.
β’ Work cross-functionally to ensure that developer requirements inform the product roadmap, messaging, and go-to-market initiatives.
β’ Assess and analyze the effectiveness of developer marketing campaigns, leveraging data to refine strategies and enhance engagement over time.
β’ Over 10 years of experience in developer marketing or a closely related field, preferably within a B2B technology or SaaS setting.
β’ A previous leadership role in Developer Marketing is essential.
β’ A deep understanding of developer communities, tools, and the AI/OpenSource landscape.
β’ Experience as a practitioner in data and AI; extensive knowledge of databases, application development, and AI/OpenSource technologies.
β’ Exceptional communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts in a compelling manner.
β’ Leadership experience coupled with a collaborative approach to drive cross-functional projects.
β’ Proven ability to work with and manage agencies and contractors to achieve results.
