This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Formulate and implement a comprehensive global marketing strategy aimed at developers to enhance awareness, adoption, and advocacy among developers and AI/OpenSource engineers, ensuring our messaging is authentic across various channels and programs.
• Spearhead developer acquisition initiatives that yield measurable engagement from developers.
• Collaborate with the Demand Generation team on paid marketing efforts targeting developers, which includes advertising campaigns for AI/OpenSource developers, sponsorship opportunities, and innovative acquisition channels.
• Manage the strategy for developer events, encompassing conference sponsorships, speaking opportunities, workshops, and creative activations that highlight use cases.
• Build and maintain a dynamic developer community through events, forums, hackathons, and online resources.
• Cultivate and maintain significant relationships with AI/OpenSource developer communities and influencers (such as AI research labs, Twitter, universities, etc.), ensuring awareness of where practitioners are located.
• Supervise the development of technical content, tutorials, sample applications, and additional resources that empower developers to effectively utilize our products.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing teams to ensure alignment on messaging and a unified go-to-market strategy.
• Work cross-functionally to ensure that developer requirements inform the product roadmap, messaging, and go-to-market initiatives.
• Assess and analyze the effectiveness of developer marketing campaigns, leveraging data to refine strategies and enhance engagement over time.
• Over 10 years of experience in developer marketing or a closely related field, preferably within a B2B technology or SaaS setting.
• A previous leadership role in Developer Marketing is essential.
• A deep understanding of developer communities, tools, and the AI/OpenSource landscape.
• Experience as a practitioner in data and AI; extensive knowledge of databases, application development, and AI/OpenSource technologies.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts in a compelling manner.
• Leadership experience coupled with a collaborative approach to drive cross-functional projects.
• Proven ability to work with and manage agencies and contractors to achieve results.
