Senior Developer Relations Manager – Security, AI Software

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Cultivate and sustain in-depth technical knowledge of software products (Splunk, AppDynamics, ThousandEyes, AI Defense).

• Act as a reliable technical advisor, problem solver, and advocate for developers in observability, security operations, and AI platforms.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the adoption of libraries related to these technologies.

• Boost critical workloads by showcasing and integrating the NVIDIA software stack (APIs, SDKs, data integrations, applications, and reference architectures) into partner products, platforms, and pipelines.

• Assist partners and developers during onboarding and integration by offering technical resources—such as sample code, guides, and demo pipelines—to expedite adoption across NVIDIA’s platform and encourage co-innovation of next-generation solutions.

• Analyze and track the developer ecosystem to identify growth opportunities, working alongside engineering, product management, and marketing to shape roadmaps and improve partner adoption strategies.

• Collaborate with partner technical leaders to promote best-practice integrations and address technical challenges, utilizing regular meetings to monitor adoption, identify new workflows, and relay crucial field insights back to NVIDIA product teams.

• Foster and energize developer communities around accelerated software—representing co-engineered products at conferences, meetups, and hackathons while delivering technical presentations and hands-on workshops.

• Promote API, SDK, and integration adoption throughout Splunk and the wider software ecosystem, advocating for an exceptional developer experience from start to finish.

• Extract developer sentiment and ecosystem trends, converting them into actionable insights that guide product direction and platform strategy.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 12+ years of cumulative professional experience in the technology sector within software engineering, developer relations, technical partnerships, solutions architecture, or product management, including 5+ years of hands-on experience in observability, data analytics, monitoring, or security software (e.g., Splunk, Datadog, Elastic, Grafana, or similar enterprise platforms).

• Demonstrated experience in leading, collaborating, and scaling developer programs at major technology firms, with ISVs, or within relevant sectors.

• Extensive technical proficiency in observability, security, and/or AI software—including logging and metrics pipelines, distributed tracing, SIEM/SOAR, cloud-native architectures, and/or AI security frameworks—and contributions to product integrations and software libraries.

• Experience in leading technical collaborations with engineering and product teams—covering architectural design, code reviews, technical mentorship, and delivering technical presentations or workshops.

• Proven capability to organize and execute complex technical engagements, negotiate requirements, prioritize issues, and collaborate with internal or external stakeholders (across sales, legal, product, or marketing teams as required).

• Proficient in simplifying complex technical concepts for diverse audiences, ranging from engineers to executives, with comprehensive experience in defining, integrating, building, and jointly marketing solutions with strategic ISV partners.
