This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Define and take ownership of the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Construction AI assistant workflows within Autodesk Construction Cloud.
• Convert customer challenges, market signals, AI capabilities, and business priorities into a structured, prioritized roadmap.
• Prioritize opportunities in areas such as answer-finding, project intelligence, workflow automation, document understanding, drawing/model interactions, and agentic actions.
• Determine where AI can deliver unique customer value compared to situations needing deterministic workflows, rules, UX, or platform enhancements.
• Collaborate with product leadership to align Construction AI investments with Autodesk's overall platform, data, and AI strategy.
• Gain a comprehensive understanding of construction personas, including project managers, superintendents, VDC/BIM teams, project engineers, estimators, document controllers, account/project admins, and executives.
• Conduct customer discovery sessions to identify workflows where AI can minimize search time, rework, risk, delays, and administrative burdens.
• Develop expertise in construction documents and workflows, including RFIs, submittals, specifications, issues, meetings, schedules, drawings, models, change orders, and project administration.
• Keep abreast of trends in construction technology, AI assistants, agentic workflows, and construction automation to spot opportunities and competitive challenges.
• Advocate for the customer's perspective in discussions involving product, engineering, data science, and executive teams.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, data science, design, and architecture teams to define AI-powered assistant experiences from inception to launch.
• Draft clear product requirements, user stories, success criteria, expected model behavior, and acceptance criteria for AI workflows.
• Work together on AI evaluation techniques, prompt and agent behavior, retrieval quality, grounding, permissions, observability, and model performance.
• Ensure that AI experiences are practically beneficial in real construction scenarios, beyond just being technically accurate.
• Establish product requirements for responsible AI, including aspects of transparency, user control, provenance, escalation paths, quality thresholds, and human-in-the-loop review.
• Collaborate with platform and data teams to utilize construction knowledge graphs, project context, permissions, and workflow data to enhance assistant quality and trust.
• Lead the cross-functional execution of products from discovery through beta, general availability, adoption, and iterative improvements.
• Make challenging roadmap trade-offs based on customer impact, technical feasibility, AI readiness, business value, risk, cost, and adoption data.
• Work with design teams to create intuitive assistant and automation experiences seamlessly integrated into customer workflows.
• Partner with engineering teams to manage dependencies, sequencing, release planning, technical limitations, and operational readiness.
• Collaborate with Trust, Legal, Privacy, Security, and Responsible AI teams to ensure AI capabilities adhere to Autodesk standards and meet customer expectations.
• Drive product launches in collaboration with Product Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Support, Enablement, and field teams.
• Establish success metrics for AI assistant workflows, including adoption rates, task completion, answer quality, automation effectiveness, time saved, customer satisfaction, trust, retention, and business impact.
• Utilize product analytics, customer feedback, model evaluations, support signals, and field insights to inform roadmap decisions.
• Create feedback loops that continuously enhance AI quality, usability, and workflow relevance.
• Communicate product performance, roadmap advancements, risks, and trade-offs effectively to stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Develop a clear and compelling roadmap for Construction AI assistant workflows.
• Foster alignment across product, engineering, data science, design, go-to-market, and leadership teams.
• Achieve measurable progress in one or more high-value assistant or agentic workflow areas.
• Clarify where AI should respond, recommend, automate, or defer to human intervention.
• Establish repeatable product patterns for trusted AI workflows in construction.
• Enhance customer confidence, usage, and adoption of Autodesk’s Construction AI portfolio.
• Over 5 years of product management experience in B2B SaaS, enterprise software, AI/ML products, construction technology, or related fields.
• Proven ability to own product vision, roadmap, prioritization, requirements, and execution for complex products.
• Experience collaborating with engineering, design, data science, research, and go-to-market teams in a cross-functional product development setting.
• Strong grasp of AI/ML product concepts, including LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation, prompt behavior, AI evaluation, model quality, human-in-the-loop workflows, and responsible AI considerations.
• Capability to transform ambiguous customer challenges into well-defined product strategies, requirements, milestones, and measurable outcomes.
• Excellent analytical skills with experience in defining metrics to assess product success.
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities, including the capacity to influence senior leaders and align teams around trade-offs.
