Senior Product Manager – Communication Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the backend and operational systems that drive Clever's expansion.

• Collaborate with senior engineers to establish requirements for APIs, integrations, data flows, internal tools, and workflow automation.

• Convert unclear business and operational challenges into well-defined specifications, MVPs, trade-offs, and measurable results.

• Spot opportunities to minimize manual tasks, enhance data quality, automate workflows, and create more dependable systems.

• Set success metrics and implement instrumentation to ensure systems function as expected.

• Heavily utilize AI tools to expedite research, discovery, documentation, prototyping, analysis, and execution.

• Enhance telecom, call, SMS, routing, logging, consent, attribution, and follow-up workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of product management experience with complex systems, integrations, operations platforms, or technical products.

• Technical proficiency with APIs, data flows, backend systems, third-party platforms, and engineering trade-offs.

• Strong systems thinking ability — comprehends how workflows, data, teams, and tools are interconnected and where they may fail.

• Proven experience in transforming disorganized manual processes into scalable systems.

• AI-native working approach — consistently employs AI tools to enhance product development.

• Exceptional written communication skills: including specifications, problem briefs, trade-off documents, and decision memos.

• Strong business acumen connecting backend systems to revenue, efficiency, quality, and risk management.

• Experience in at least one of the following: telecom/contact center systems (such as Twilio, Kixie, Five9, etc.), partner integrations, APIs, lead routing, and data quality.
