This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.
• Create a vision for an exceptional clinical experience by considering ecosystems throughout the entire clinician journey, rather than focusing on isolated features, and envisioning what we would develop if there were no limitations from existing systems.
• Take ownership of the clinical systems roadmap: collaborate closely with our clinical, operations, and care teams to establish priorities and success metrics.
• Implement product governance - serve as the intermediary between clinical stakeholders and engineering, ensuring that priorities are determined by measurable impact.
• Rigorously evaluate AI and third-party tools: establish evaluation criteria, determine whether to build, configure, or buy for each initiative, and apply solutions that genuinely save clinicians time rather than defaulting to existing options.
• Assess benefits in meaningful terms, ensuring every initiative includes a baseline measurement before and after: time saved per session, reduction in non-billable administrative hours, unlocked billed hours, and improved clinical outcomes.
• Collaborate across the entire spectrum of clinical delivery - from refining workflows within NextGen (templates, task routing, clinical documentation) to designing integrations that expand the EHR into our wider ecosystem, to defining and building new clinical tools when no existing solutions are available.
• Manage the integration layer among our clinical tools - Blueprint, NextGen, and any custom-built interfaces - ensuring they function as a cohesive system rather than a collection of disjointed point solutions that clinicians must manually connect.
• Incorporate clinical safety into the practice from the outset - recognize where our tools intersect with client safety and ensure that the speed of delivery does not compromise clinical integrity.
• Over 7 years of product management experience, with substantial exposure to healthcare or clinical tools.
• Hands-on EHR experience is preferred - understanding how they operate, their configurable aspects, and areas requiring custom solutions. [NextGen, Epic, AdvancedMD, or Athena]
• Knowledge of healthcare systems integration (HL7, FHIR, API-based) and the discernment to determine what should reside natively within an EHR versus an external layer.
• A proven history of establishing product practices from the ground up - developing structure, gaining trust, and delivering measurable improvements.
• Practical AI literacy: capable of evaluating tools, assessing clinical risk and integration complexity, and making well-informed decisions.
• Ability to quantify benefits in concrete terms to measure outcomes: saved time, recovered hours, and improved throughput.
• Direct clinical or clinical operations experience is preferred. Experience in behavioral health is an advantage.
• W2 position with competitive salary.
• Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage starting on the first of the month following employment.
• Paid Vacation, Sick leave, and Holidays.
• Employee Assistance Program (EAP) offering confidential counseling services, resources, and support for personal or professional challenges.
• 401(k) plan with company contributions.
• Opportunity to work in a leading-edge healthcare technology environment.
• Professional development and training opportunities.
• A collaborative and supportive workplace culture.
• A significant role that contributes to the improvement of patient care and healthcare processes.
