This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
β’ Comprehensive admissions process from inquiry to application, review, decision-making, enrollment contracts, and re-enrollment, all managed as a cohesive journey rather than a series of disconnected forms.
β’ Seamless integrations and transitions. Establish efficient connections between admissions, enrollment, financial aid, billing, and student records, ensuring that a family is treated as one entity rather than multiple.
β’ Exploration and strategic planning. Collaborate with admissions directors, business managers, and enrollment teams to gain insights into their operations, identify key issues to address, and prioritize solutions accordingly.
β’ Important metrics. Focus on funnel conversion rates, application completion stats, decision-making timelines, financial aid processing times, re-enrollment yields, and operational metrics that indicate whether our product is effectively saving schools time.
β’ Collaborative cross-functional teamwork. Engage in daily activities with engineering and design within your team, while also partnering closely with customer success, support, implementation, sales, and marketing.
β’ 3-5 years of experience in product management, delivering software to real users, preferably in the B2B SaaS sector.
β’ Proven history of managing a product area from start to finish β including discovery, scoping, shipping, and iterating based on insights gained.
β’ Strong customer-focused mindset. You dedicate time to understanding users, document their feedback, and can differentiate between a feature request and the underlying issue.
β’ Familiarity with workflow-intensive products. You can comprehend a multi-step, multi-stakeholder process and analyze where it may encounter issues.
β’ Proficiency in data interpretation. You are capable of extracting your own data, constructing a basic funnel, and utilizing metrics for prioritization rather than just reporting retrospectively.
β’ Clear and concise writing skills. Produce PRDs that engineers are eager to work from and updates that stakeholders find engaging.
β’ A proactive approach to shipping. You prefer to present something valuable to customers and learn from it rather than perfecting specifications for an extended period.
β’ Must be authorized to work in the US.
β’ Preferred qualifications:
β’ - Experience in EdTech, K-12, higher education, or other mission-driven fields.
β’ - Understanding of admissions, enrollment, or financial aid processes, whether as a Product Manager, operator, or former educational employee.
β’ - Experience with intricate calculation engines, eligibility logic, or workflow products featuring branching states.
β’ - Comfort in collaborating closely with finance or business office stakeholders.
β’ 3 weeks of vacation each year.
β’ 14 paid holidays annually (including the week off between Christmas and New Year's Eve).
β’ 56 hours of paid sick leave per year.
β’ Comprehensive benefits package -
β’ - Medical, Dental & Vision (Blue Cross Blue Shield & EyeMed).
β’ - Veracross LLC Fidelity 401(k) Plan managed by Sentinel Benefits.
