This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Spearhead the implementation and enhancement of a specific segment of the student journey, converting established strategies into scalable experiences utilizing UX design and advanced analytics, including AI and ML where applicable.
• Discover opportunities to leverage predictive models, intelligent workflows, and generative AI to provide proactive guidance, personalization, and improve operational efficiency.
• Convert insights, research, and data into a strategic roadmap with defined priorities and measurable student outcomes.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Data Science, and Design teams to deliver personalized features that integrate ML models, generative AI, and automated decision-support tools.
• Establish hypotheses and conduct experiments to validate the value, accuracy, and user trust in AI-driven features.
• Oversee cross-functional workstreams, manage dependencies, assess risks, and ensure stakeholder alignment for both conventional product initiatives and AI-enhanced solutions.
• Define success metrics for features driven by AI and ML, including model performance, user experience impacts, and operational improvements.
• Promote clarity, equity, and empowerment in every interaction with students.
• Minimum of 5 years of product management experience, demonstrating a successful history of delivering impactful consumer or B2B SaaS products.
• Proven experience collaborating with engineering and data science teams to launch ML- or AI-enabled features, such as predictive models, ranking systems, automated workflows, or generative AI experiences.
• Capacity to identify AI/ML opportunities, articulate product requirements for intelligent systems, and guide teams through model evaluation, UX design, experiment setup, and iteration.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with expertise in product analytics, A/B testing, and data-informed decision-making.
• Outstanding communication skills, capable of aligning engineering, design, operations, and leadership—particularly in ambiguous situations or when clarifying technical trade-offs.
• A mission-driven, student-centric perspective and a profound interest in how AI can responsibly enhance access, support, and educational outcomes.
• Background in higher education, edtech, or service-oriented journeys where AI complements expert human guidance.
• Understanding of human-in-the-loop workflows and the operational intricacies of deploying AI in regulated or high-stakes environments.
