This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Take ownership of the product strategy for the Everyday Banking portfolio, which includes cards, chequing, savings, investments, and loans, by converting market data and user insights into a high-growth vision.
• Establish a vision for AI-driven personalization that anticipates user requirements and presents the appropriate products and guidance.
• Lead discussions on roadmap alignment and prioritization with executive leadership, gaining consensus on essential trade-offs.
• Cultivate in-depth knowledge of fintech trends, competitor activities, and open banking to uncover new market opportunities.
• Transform strategy into precise product requirements by defining scope, success criteria, and edge cases for the cross-functional pod that includes engineering, design, and QA.
• Guide the pod through backlog sequencing, scrum ceremonies, and the complete delivery process.
• Make informed trade-offs across scope, technical scalability, and timelines, supported by data analysis.
• Establish success metrics and reporting mechanisms to assess product performance, extract insights, and communicate outcomes to leadership.
• Streamline delivery processes and prioritization frameworks to minimize friction, reduce risk, and enhance team velocity.
• Coordinate end-to-end go-to-market plans encompassing operational readiness, marketing alignment, and launch execution.
• Enhance user funnels by converting user research and A/B testing data into opportunities that boost conversion rates and maximize revenue.
• Collaborate with marketing and content teams to create high-converting web experiences that improve SEO, geo-targeting, and landing page performance.
• Over 5 years of product management experience, with a proven history of managing a product line from start to finish, preferably in fintech, personal finance, or a high-growth B2C marketplace.
• A demonstrated ability to define and refine product strategy, moving beyond mere execution of a pre-established roadmap.
• Proficiency in utilizing web analytics, user testing, and A/B testing to enhance conversion rates and evaluate product performance.
• Strong background in Agile/Scrum methodologies, with a knack for validating concepts through MVPs and lean testing prior to committing to a complete technology build.
• Comfort with integrating AI tools into the product workflow to expedite market research, data synthesis, and rapid prototyping.
• A passion for UX/design and the capability to convert customer and business needs into exceptional products.
• Proven ability to influence executive leadership and cross-functional teams effectively.
• Adept at structuring ambiguous problems, transforming vague, open-ended challenges into clear hypotheses, scoped initiatives, and a sequenced action plan.
• Highly organized and adaptable, capable of managing multiple workstreams and re-prioritizing as situations evolve.
