Senior Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Sri Lanka.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize product requirements, encompassing functional, technical, and user experience elements.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, such as development, design, and marketing, to ensure alignment and successful product launch.

• Conduct thorough analysis of market trends, competitor products, and customer feedback to guide product roadmap decisions.

• Facilitate workshops and meetings to collect and refine product requirements, ensuring clear documentation and communication throughout the development process.

• Monitor key performance metrics to evaluate product performance and identify areas for improvement or optimization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Computer Science, or a related area.

• At least 5 years of experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, or Business Analysis roles within a technology-focused software product setting.

• Proven track record in managing complex digital products and platforms, involving multiple stakeholders, integrations, workflows, data flows, and technical dependencies.

• Hands-on experience owning products in one or more of the following areas is highly desirable: FinTech platforms, Digital banking solutions, Payments platforms/payment gateways, Credit card platforms, Loyalty, rewards, and customer engagement platforms, E-commerce marketplaces or transaction-based platforms, AI-driven personalization, pricing, or analytics platforms.

• Experience collaborating closely with engineering teams, architects, UX/UI designers, and business stakeholders throughout the entire product lifecycle - from discovery and requirements definition to delivery and ongoing optimization.

• Strong understanding of product management practices, including roadmap planning, feature prioritization, user story creation, backlog management, requirement elicitation, and Agile delivery methodologies.

• Ability to convert complex business challenges into clear technical requirements and actionable product solutions.

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, capable of influencing decisions across both technical and business teams.

• Proven experience in successfully delivering scalable products or significant product features utilized by customers, enterprises, or external partners.

• Familiarity with AI, machine learning, data analytics, and recommendation/personalization concepts is a plus.

• Must be a self-motivated individual contributor who can independently manage product responsibilities while effectively collaborating within a global cross-functional team.
