This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Taking ownership of the strategy and outcomes for your product domain, converting company goals into a multi-quarter plan with clear guidelines on what will and will not be developed.
• Addressing genuine uncertainties using evidence and sound judgment, without waiting for a brief or roadmap to be provided.
• Conducting discovery and maintaining a continuous insight system for your area: establishing research routines, merchant and go-to-market feedback loops, and competitive monitoring that genuinely influences decisions.
• Collaborating closely with engineering on implementation, architecture, and long-term technical direction, rather than merely providing specifications.
• Defining the go-to-market strategy for your area, including inputs on positioning and pricing, in collaboration with RevOps and Product Marketing.
• Making informed trade-offs across scope, quality, and timing, prioritizing long-term technical sustainability over immediate delivery goals.
• Enhancing the quality of product thinking around you through clear decision documentation, reusable playbooks, and the standard you set under pressure.
• Serving as a credible product representative with senior internal stakeholders and directly engaging with key merchants.
• A proven history of managing a product area or significant problem space from start to finish, where the results can be linked back to your judgment and execution.
• Strong product judgment in ambiguous, high-stakes situations, with a clear ability to articulate your reasoning.
• Comfort in working closely with engineers on technical and architectural trade-offs, possessing enough fluency to be a true partner rather than just a translator.
• Evidence-led decision-making: you utilize data, research, and merchant feedback to inform your decisions, and you recognize when the evidence is insufficient.
• The capacity to influence senior stakeholders and navigate conflicting interests without relying on authority.
• Nice-to-haves:
• Experience in payments, fintech, or another complex, regulated, or infrastructure domain.
• Experience in building or enhancing the systems and processes that a product team operates on.
• Competitive share options.
• Unlimited holiday, with a minimum of 25 days to be taken.
• Access to co-working spaces.
• Opportunities for workations and company retreats.
• Top-quality equipment for your role.
• £500 contribution towards your home office setup.
• Generous budget for learning and development.
• Private Medical Insurance.
• A wide range of additional perks and benefits (depending on location).
