This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Develop and lead the multi-year strategy for Workflows and Actions, encompassing both cloud-based SaaS and on-premises solutions.
• Spearhead product definition for the agentic layer of PagerDuty’s automation platform — comprising the Skills, Tools, and Connectors that empower AI agents to operate autonomously in production settings.
• Establish the framework for how autonomous SRE agents engage with automation primitives: executing runbooks, initiating Actions, accessing external APIs through Connectors, and escalating issues when confidence levels are insufficient.
• Collaborate closely with engineering to outline the trust, safety, and audit parameters necessary before automation can represent an agent instead of a human.
• Work in partnership with AI/ML teams and external model providers to ensure that PagerDuty’s agentic experience stands out by domain — leveraging in-depth SRE context rather than generic automation approaches.
• Manage the customer-facing aspect of agentic authorization — guaranteeing permissions, audit logs, and scoping controls are a seamless and intuitive extension of existing enterprise permissioning frameworks.
• Identify and address deficiencies in the current platform by integrating customer feedback, usage analytics, competitive insights, and engineering limitations into a cohesive strategy.
• Over 5 years of product management experience delivering customer-facing software at scale; experience in SaaS B2B is highly preferred.
• Profound understanding of the SRE and DevOps landscape — you are familiar with on-call rotations, effective runbook characteristics, and the operation of production systems.
• Practical experience with workflow automation, integration platforms, job scheduling systems, or infrastructure tools.
• Capability to clearly articulate authorization models — while coding policy engines is not necessary, you should be able to engage in discussions with security architects and enterprise customers regarding principals, permissions, scopes, and trust delegation.
• Strong technical proficiency: comfortable interpreting API specifications, analyzing telemetry, and engaging in meaningful discussions with senior engineers.
• Proven history of managing complex, multi-stakeholder roadmaps from initial vision to general availability.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; able to simplify intricate platform trade-offs for both technical and executive stakeholders.
• Familiar with UI/UX best practices, usability testing, and using user research to guide roadmap decisions and feature development.
• Established track record of fostering positive working relationships with engineering, UX design, and teams beyond product development.
• A strong drive for achievement (with a natural curiosity for tasks you haven't accomplished, a desire to learn, and a willingness to seek assistance).
• Deep customer empathy and a curiosity-driven approach to understanding their needs.

• ESPP (Employee Stock Purchase Program)*
• Retirement or pension plan*
