Senior Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the entire product lifecycle for the emissions management product line, encompassing market discovery, concept development, launch, iteration, and long-term growth.

• Articulate and share a compelling product vision that is rooted in customer needs, regulatory trends (CII, EU ETS, FuelEU Maritime, IMO 2030/2050), and competitive dynamics.

• Create and uphold the product roadmap, making transparent prioritization decisions that balance customer value, commercial potential, and technical feasibility.

• Serve as the internal authority on emissions management, being the go-to expert who influences how the business approaches and monetizes this field.

• Act as the senior stakeholder representative on all issues related to emissions management solutions, holding the final decision-making power on solution design and direction.

• Facilitate alignment across commercial, product, and operations teams, simplifying complexities to ensure cross-functional teams are unified in their direction.

• Cultivate trusted relationships with key customers, acting as a strategic advisor who comprehends their business objectives and aids them in achieving measurable results.

• Represent the product at industry forums, customer briefings, and partner discussions, showcasing its value and relevance.

• Collaborate closely with commercial leadership to formulate go-to-market strategies, pricing frameworks, and value propositions for the emissions management portfolio.

• Identify and explore revenue expansion opportunities across the organization, including upselling, cross-selling, and entering new markets.

• Contribute to business cases, pipeline development, and contract strategies at the intersection of the product and commercial engagements.

• Lead the design of customer-facing solutions that convert complex emissions data, analytics, and compliance workflows into intuitive, high-value products.

• Ensure that solutions are designed with sustainability in mind, avoiding one-off customizations in favor of reusable, platform-ready components.

• Drive cross-functional initiatives from discovery to execution, coordinating internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver projects on schedule and as specified.

• Establish success metrics, monitor progress against them, and communicate clearly to senior leadership regarding risks, progress, and outcomes.

• Advocate for agile, iterative delivery practices while maintaining a clear perspective on the long-term roadmap.


⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in senior product management, ideally within a B2B technology or data-driven setting.

• Extensive knowledge of maritime emissions management, environmental performance, or fleet optimization, including a solid understanding of the regulatory landscape (IMO, CII, EU ETS, MARPOL) and how maritime stakeholders navigate it.

• Demonstrated ability to take ownership of and advance a product from early concept to commercial success.

• Strong commercial insight — adept at working with sales and commercial teams, contributing to revenue strategy, and comprehending the economics of a product business.

• Outstanding stakeholder management abilities, with the confidence and credibility to interact at senior levels both internally and externally.

• Experience in leading cross-functional programs and aligning diverse teams towards a shared objective.

• Background in maritime technology, fleet management software, or environmental compliance solutions.

• Familiarity with data products, analytics platforms, or decision-support tools.

• Understanding of decarbonization pathways, alternative fuels, or carbon accounting methodologies.

• Proven track record of launching new products or entering new markets.
