This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.
• Oversee the CDS Global payments product portfolio, managing daily strategy, performance, and the innovation of payment solutions.
• Responsible for achieving product roadmap milestones, from the inception of features to their eventual discontinuation.
• Manage all aspects of Product Management, encompassing product planning, marketing, and the lifecycle management of products.
• Develop and present Marketing, Product, Customer, and Technical Requirements documents that outline prioritized features with justifications.
• Conduct market research and analyze results, including Market Analysis, Business Case development, Profit & Loss (P&L) Investigation, Customer and Market Research, Competitive Analysis, and technology trends.
• Accountable for the Return on Investment (ROI), Profit & Loss (P&L), and overall success of products from conception to launch and eventual discontinuation, including ongoing enhancements.
• Prepare and communicate budgets, revenue forecasts, and projections.
• Create core positioning and messaging for the product, highlighting points of differentiation.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, IT, and support teams to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction objectives are achieved.
• Engage with external partners to evaluate partnership and licensing opportunities.
• Maintain an extensive understanding of the CDS Global business units, the fulfillment industry, and competitors.
• Travel as necessary.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related four-year degree; an MBA is preferred.
• A minimum of seven years of progressively complex experience in Product Marketing or Product Management.
• Proven experience with assigned products, especially related to high-volume order transactions and various media for order capture such as web and handheld devices.
• Proficiency in requirements development and ownership, Product Lifecycle Management, and Brand management.
• Experience in creating, updating, and communicating Product Road Maps.
• Demonstrated success in defining, launching, and growing exceptional products in both new and established markets.
• Strong teamwork and negotiation abilities with a proven track record of influencing cross-functional teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, alongside strong presentation capabilities.
• Successful track record in prioritizing and completing both long-term and short-term projects.
• Strong conviction to handle pressures from diverse, opinionated stakeholders.
• Proficient PC knowledge and skills.
• Excellent analytical skills and experience in identifying and resolving technical solutions to complex business and technical challenges.
• Experience in making business decisions that require discretion, judgment, and initiative.
• Capability to provide consultation on complex technical and managerial principles to both technical and non-technical personnel.
• Strong mathematical skills.
• Experience in navigating a dynamic work environment.
