Senior Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Austria.

📋 Description

• Develop, enhance, and steer Crate DB's strategic and competitive stance while delivering products recognized as industry leaders.

• Foster a unified vision across the organization by achieving consensus on strategies and priorities that drive product execution.

• Oversee multiple products and priorities, ensuring your organization is efficient, healthy, and positioned for success through the establishment of clear and measurable goals.

• Identify and initiate opportunities for new projects or focus areas, assembling the necessary teams for execution.

• Coordinate product roadmaps in collaboration with all stakeholders.

• Attract, build, manage, and develop a talented, diverse, equitable, and inclusive team of product managers, product owners, UX designers, and technical writers.

• Inspire and promote cross-functional activities through information sharing, persuasion, and mutual respect.

• Establish and maintain a process that ensures effective new product ideation and hypothesis testing.

• Define and analyze metrics that gauge the success of products.

• Serve as a product evangelist both within and outside the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5 years of experience in Product Management, including some senior or management roles.

• Proficient in all stages of the product life cycle.

• Extensive experience in the database or related fields (e.g., data processing, streaming) in an engineering or product leadership capacity.

• Familiarity with SaaS, web technologies, open source, and lifecycle management within a dynamic software environment.

• Strong technical knowledge in software engineering.

• Ability to establish and cultivate relationships both internally and externally.

• Willingness to contribute as an individual while also taking on leadership responsibilities.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, along with strong organizational and analytical capabilities.
