Senior Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of backend and operational systems that facilitate Clever's expansion.

• Collaborate with senior engineers to establish requirements for APIs, integrations, data flows, internal tools, and workflow automation.

• Convert unclear business and operational challenges into precise specifications, MVPs, trade-offs, and measurable results.

• Spot opportunities to minimize manual tasks, enhance data quality, automate workflows, and create more dependable systems.

• Establish success metrics and instrumentation to ensure systems are functioning as expected.

• Leverage AI tools extensively to speed up research, discovery, documentation, prototyping, analysis, and execution.

• Enhance telecom, call, SMS, routing, logging, consent, attribution, and follow-up workflows.

• Optimize partner APIs, lead validation, normalization, deduplication, routing, error management, and integration health.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of product management experience managing complex systems, integrations, operational platforms, or technical products.

• Technical proficiency with APIs, data flows, backend systems, third-party platforms, and engineering trade-offs.

• Excellent systems thinking — comprehends how workflows, data, teams, and tools interconnect and identifies where they fail.

• Proven experience transforming chaotic manual processes into scalable systems.

• AI-native working approach — actively utilizes AI tools to enhance product development.

• Strong written communication skills: specifications, problem briefs, trade-off documents, decision memos.

• Solid business judgment linking backend systems to revenue, efficiency, quality, and risk.

• Experience in at least one of the following: telecom/contact center systems (Twilio, Kixie, Five9, etc.) or partner integrations, APIs, lead routing, and data quality.
