📋 Description

• Take ownership of the strategy, roadmap, and execution for one or more major product areas within Blackthorn's portfolio.

• Establish and prioritize outcomes rather than merely features by gaining a profound understanding of customer requirements, market dynamics, and business objectives.

• Create and uphold a well-structured, clearly articulated product roadmap that aligns with company priorities.

• Lead cross-functional teams through the phases of discovery, definition, and delivery of intricate product initiatives.

• Compose clear and comprehensive product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria that prepare engineering and QA for success.

• Foster alignment within the Engineering team, ensuring that your team remains focused, unimpeded, and directed towards meaningful outcomes.

• Manage the squad’s delivery rhythm, stay closely involved with the work, monitor commitments, and proactively eliminate blockers before they escalate.

• Operate seamlessly in Blackthorn’s AI-first development environment, utilizing AI tools to enhance discovery, documentation, and delivery processes.

• Leverage product analytics and qualitative research to validate decisions and perpetually refine the delivered product.

• Serve as the primary product advocate for your domain in discussions with Sales, Marketing, Support, and Customer Success teams.

• Conduct customer discovery interviews and distill insights into actionable product strategies.

• Communicate assertively with senior leadership regarding the roadmap, trade-offs, and progress updates.

• Represent Blackthorn's product viewpoint with external partners and customers as required.

• Promote the use of AI tools and experimentation to enhance internal workflows and customer-facing experiences.


⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience as a Product Manager in a SaaS environment, with a proven history of owning and delivering complex product areas.

• Strong strategic acumen coupled with the capability to drive execution through cross-functional teams.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities, comfortable presenting to executives and engaging with customers.

• Proficiency in utilizing product analytics to guide decisions and assess outcomes.

• Passion and understanding of AI, along with a proactive mindset for identifying its potential to enhance products and processes.

• Demonstrated ability to sustain high delivery velocity within a dedicated squad in an iterative, AI-assisted engineering setting.
