Senior Product Manager, APAC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the product strategy and roadmap for pay-ins and payouts in APAC markets, ensuring alignment with Kora's regional expansion objectives.

• Gain deep insights into user needs through research, market engagement, and direct interactions with merchants, advocating for these needs throughout the development cycle.

• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to identify solutions, launch products, and refine offerings based on market feedback.

• Establish and drive roadmaps, project plans, and detailed product specifications that consistently ensure high-quality delivery.

• Navigate the complexities of regulatory and payment schemes in APAC markets, working closely with legal, compliance, and local partners to ensure smooth product launches.

• Successfully lead launches by partnering cross-functionally with marketing, merchant success, sales, operations, legal, and compliance teams.

• Utilize qualitative and quantitative data, user research, experiments, and analytics to make informed, evidence-based decisions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in product management, demonstrating a successful history of delivering impactful products (senior-level scope; we expect a higher level of strategic ownership).

• Proven expertise in developing payment products within the fintech sector, particularly in pay-ins, payouts, or cross-border infrastructure.

• Direct experience in creating products for or operating in APAC markets. Familiarity with local payment methods (e.g., PayNow, FPS, Alipay, WeChat Pay, UnionPay) and the regulatory landscapes of Singapore, Hong Kong, and/or mainland China is highly desirable.

• Strong strategic thinking capabilities and the ability to clarify ambiguous and complex problems.

• A solid technical background, encompassing an understanding of software development and operations, with experience in technical products.

• Strong customer empathy, with a background in shaping product direction through research, user interviews, and A/B testing.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; capable of influencing senior stakeholders and aligning cross-functional teams without direct authority.

• Attention to detail and a genuine commitment to product quality.

• A sense of curiosity, drive, and the operational instinct of someone who excels in a rapidly scaling environment.

• Experience with stablecoins or crypto payment systems.

• Previous experience launching a product in a new market from the ground up.
