Senior Product Engineer – PHP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• In the role of Senior Product Engineer, you will play a crucial role within our engineering team, which consists of a diverse group of over 200 skilled engineers across backend, frontend, mobile, and platform specialties.

• You will engage in a variety of stimulating projects, including the development and integration of new APIs that enhance the customer experience, as well as optimizing our advanced lending platforms.

• Additionally, you will participate in comprehensive architectural discussions, influencing the future direction of our products.

⛳️ Requirements

• A strong, business-minded engineer with contemporary PHP development expertise (experience with PHP 8.0 or higher is essential). You are well-versed in the latest PHP features and industry best practices.

• A thorough understanding of a modern PHP framework such as Symfony or Laravel.

• Experience with Domain Driven Design, Message-Driven Systems, and Event Sourcing is highly advantageous.

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and experience in financial systems is a plus.

• Outstanding skills in automated testing (unit, integration, functional) – you prioritize high-quality code.

• A strong willingness to learn, collaborate, and share your ideas within a highly cooperative team environment.

• A high level of ownership and independence.

• Experience in a cross-functional setting is beneficial, but not mandatory.
