Senior Product Engineer, Frontend – React, TypeScript

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Design and develop a highly efficient, user-friendly, and data-rich interface utilizing React and TypeScript, transforming billions of observability signals into actionable insights.

• Share ownership of the frontend architecture — including component design, state management, and overall framework — ensuring the UI's speed and performance, even with large datasets.

• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to shape not only the visual aspect of the product but also its overall user experience. Advocate for an exceptional user experience in every interaction.

• Deliver production-quality code from the first week. Within three months, roll out significant user-facing features that enhance how customers visualize data and troubleshoot issues.

• Utilize AI and intelligent coding tools to expedite development while exercising deep technical judgment to validate, refine, and take ownership of the final product.

• Guide other engineers and promote frontend best practices within the team, encompassing Tailwind CSS, testing frameworks, and component patterns.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience in creating complex, data-heavy applications using React and TypeScript.

• Strong understanding of charting and data visualization libraries (such as Recharts, D3).

• Profound knowledge of contemporary frontend methodologies, including component-based architecture and state management.

• A sharp attention to detail and a passion for developing visually appealing, high-performance user interfaces.

• Familiarity with testing frameworks and a dedication to writing thoroughly tested code.

• Comfort with consuming RESTful APIs and working closely with backend teams.

• A foundational understanding of server-side development.

• Nice to Have: Experience with observability, monitoring, or developer tooling products.

• Knowledge of the OpenTelemetry ecosystem or cloud-native technologies.
