Senior Product Designer, UX

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete product design process for Airalo’s consumer mobile and web platforms, from initial discovery to final delivery.

• Collaborate with teams across Product, Engineering, Research, Content Design, Data, Growth, and other design professionals to convert customer needs, insights, and strategies into high-quality product enhancements.

• Develop user journeys, flows, wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity designs, UX copy, and production-ready specifications.

• Organize workshops, critiques, ideation sessions, and discussions with stakeholders to foster alignment and progress.

• Contribute to the enhancement of Airalo’s Design System, promoting consistency, accessibility, quality, and efficiency across various products.

• Guide other designers through mentorship, providing feedback, pairing, critique, and shared practices.

• Elevate the Product Design Guild by setting high standards for craftsmanship, collaboration, research-driven decision-making, and the thoughtful application of AI.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of dedicated experience in product design at a tech startup, scale-up, product-driven company, or product-centric agency.

• A robust portfolio that showcases high-quality UI, thoughtful interaction design, strong product thinking, and measurable outcomes.

• Significant experience in designing, testing, and launching native mobile and web applications for B2C products.

• Capability to navigate ambiguous design challenges from discovery to delivery, balancing user needs, business objectives, technical limitations, and product strategy.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate design rationale effectively to cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.

• Advanced skills in Figma and FigJam, with experience in creating flows, prototypes, product specifications, and production-ready design assets.

• Extensive experience working with design systems, native mobile guidelines, responsive design, accessibility, and product quality across both mobile and web platforms.

• Proficient in motion design, prototyping, or interaction details that enhance product experiences.

• Background in Lean and/or Agile product development environments, with close collaboration with Product, Engineering, Research, Content, Data, and Growth teams.

• Skilled in facilitating workshops, critiques, ideation sessions, and alignment discussions.

• Familiarity with using AI and emerging tools to enhance the design workflow beyond basic prototyping.
