Manager, Nuclear Design

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the Nuclear Design team within the Nuclear Fuels division.

• Offer technical guidance and management for engineering personnel.

• Uphold and implement design basis discipline for group deliverables.

• Administer the ongoing maintenance and configuration control of the core design basis.

• Create technical statements of work and supervise the integration of fuel components.

• Engage in the development and revision of company technical standards and procedures.

• Carry out administrative tasks such as reviewing and composing reports.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Nuclear Engineering.

• At least 10 years of progressively responsible experience in engineering.

• Preferred experience of 5 years in lead and/or supervisory roles.

• Background in resolving employee conflicts, implementing disciplinary protocols, and conducting performance evaluations.

• Demonstrated ability to manage staff across various disciplines.

• Must be eligible to work under Department of Energy 10 CFR Part 810.
