Senior Product Designer, School Organization Dashboard

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Manage the comprehensive overview of the School Organization Dashboard, developing a scalable information architecture as new features are added.

• Address foundational challenges such as rethinking Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and enhancing app governance and compliance frameworks.

• Act as the primary steward of the design system, ensuring its upkeep and development in close collaboration with the Engineering team.

• Take the lead in resolving accessibility issues to promote inclusivity for all administrators.

• Collaborate with a committed team to ensure design consistency across the platform.

• Uphold high craft standards while expanding the design system.

• Investigate value-added AI solutions to enhance the School Organization Dashboard.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in product design, particularly in managing intricate information architecture and B2B/Enterprise workflows.

• Demonstrated ability to maintain and evolve design systems, including delegating design tasks and collaborating with Engineering on execution.

• Proficient in leading discovery efforts, conducting interviews, and translating user insights into architectural modifications.

• Hands-on experience with AI tools for design and development, particularly in prototyping with Claude Code.

• Comprehensive knowledge of WCAG standards and a track record of addressing accessibility challenges in complex web products.

• Prior experience in EdTech or developing products for school administrators is a plus.

• Previous involvement with Cybersecurity products is also advantageous.

• Familiarity with a "quad" model (Product Designer, Product Manager, Engineering Manager, Product Marketing Manager) is a plus.
