Senior Product Designer – Mobile App

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Define, design, and deliver comprehensive patient experiences from start to finish, predominantly for the mobile application (iOS & Android) and occasionally for the web platform.

• Rapidly create prototypes using Figma, coding, AI tools, or any method that effectively conveys the concept.

• Take ownership and collaborate on your craft, focusing on visual quality, interaction design, edge cases, and finishing touches.

• Exhibit a strong sense of ownership post-design handoff: review builds, test user flows, identify quality issues, and collaborate with Engineering during QA to ensure the delivered experience meets standards.

• Design commerce experiences that encompass all facets of ordering, including refills, subscriptions, account management, and more.

• Establish high standards for information architecture, mobile-centric requirements and best practices, and aesthetically pleasing designs that can adapt to edge cases.

• Work closely with Product and Engineering from initial exploration to production, maintaining collaboration throughout the process, not just at handoff. This role is highly collaborative.

• Engage with providers and patients to anchor your work in genuine user needs, subsequently translating these insights into design decisions that align with product strategy and business goals.

• Contribute to the success of app adoption through various means, from enhancing its appeal for download in the app store to growth and positioning initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of product design experience with a portfolio showcasing real, delivered work.

• Proven experience in designing refined, consumer-facing mobile app experiences, preferably in the e-commerce sector.

• Strong design perspectives, maintained flexibly.

• Excellent product sensibility and the capability to navigate between strategy, systems thinking, and precise execution.

• Proactive in leveraging AI tools to enhance the quality and efficiency of your design process, with concrete examples of their practical application.

• A genuine concern for user experience that extends beyond visuals: including speed, reliability, responsiveness, accessibility, and quality across devices.

• Experience in defining and overseeing projects and requirements, identifying opportunities for improvement.

• A tendency towards building, testing, learning, and shipping, as we embrace an experimental approach.
