This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Participate in the development of new products—from initial requirements and audience insights to both low- and high-fidelity prototypes and feasibility assessments.
• Lead the design of UI/UX features and workflows from the discovery phase to delivery across various modules and products within our integrated platform.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders across the agile process—including involvement in sprint planning, refinement, and quality assurance.
• Assist in the creation and upkeep of our design system and component library, ensuring support for both dark and light mode themes in collaboration with engineering.
• Design and refine data-rich dashboards and visualizations, creating experiences that assist users in comprehending high-volume data.
• Convert technical workflows into sophisticated and user-friendly UI/UX that fosters trust and encourages adoption.
• Conduct customer interviews and design feedback sessions, integrating insights into continuous improvements.
• Identify and document visual discrepancies or interaction bugs, working with QA and engineering to resolve issues and uphold high design standards.
• Create and manage well-organized Figma files, which include wireframes, prototypes, specifications, and Jira tickets.
• Apply a strategic approach to prioritization, design trade-offs, and iterative testing, enabling teams to operate efficiently without sacrificing quality.
• Establish a framework for capturing metrics in your designs and utilizing those metrics to enhance user experiences.
• 4–7+ years of experience as a product designer, preferably in B2B/SaaS settings, designing for both technical and non-technical users (cybersecurity experience is advantageous).
• A strong portfolio that demonstrates end-to-end product design, from UX strategy to refined UI—particularly for data-intensive, complex applications.
• Proficient in Figma, with experience in component libraries, rapid prototyping, and maintaining clean, organized files.
• Ability to work across multiple products and user types simultaneously, effectively balancing priorities and adjusting to diverse use cases.
• Experience in contributing to or maintaining a design system, with enthusiasm for developing shared patterns and scalable frameworks.
• Skilled in design quality assurance, collaborating with engineers to ensure precise implementation, and documenting bugs or discrepancies.
• Familiarity with agile tools and workflows, including Jira, with a proactive approach to documentation and ticket management.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal—you can convey design rationale, influence stakeholders, and adapt based on feedback.
• Confident in presenting work to leadership and clients, steering discussions, and incorporating insights into design revisions.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity, with a proven history of driving projects from discovery to delivery with minimal supervision.
• Strong knowledge of accessibility standards, responsive design, and best practices for creating inclusive, scalable interfaces.
• Collaborative and self-motivated, with a propensity for action, continuous learning, and cross-functional cooperation.
