Senior Product Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of features from initial exploration through specifications to production handoff;

• Utilize Readymag as your primary viewpoint: identify friction points, recognize inconsistencies, and champion enhancements as someone who engages with the product regularly;

• Rapidly prototype concepts: whether in Figma, code, or any method that conveys the idea most effectively;

• Work collaboratively with engineers on both technical and architectural decisions;

• Contribute to and enhance the design system, ensuring it remains closely aligned with the implementation in code;

• Analyze data, conduct experiments, and leverage research to inform decision-making;

• Play a role in shaping strategic direction and the roadmap in conjunction with product and design leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in product design, ideally within intricate technical sectors;

• Strong sense of ownership and an end-to-end mindset—you can guide a feature from an unclear brief to deployment without losing focus;

• A portfolio that demonstrates versatility: showcasing complex product challenges resolved with clarity and a keen eye for visual quality that fellow designers will appreciate;

• You have a systems-thinking approach and collaborate closely with engineers—you are at ease in technical discussions, not only during design reviews;

• Preferred - Significant experience with tools, creative software, or other interaction-rich, canvas-based products;

• An understanding of interface animation—not merely transitions for their own sake, but motion that conveys state, directs attention, and brings a complex tool to life.
