Senior Product Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Oversee comprehensive design initiatives for technical B2B workflows related to both new and existing Payment Gateway products.

• Develop journey maps, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that align user needs with business objectives.

• Organize and perform internal usability testing as well as external validation with partners and merchants.

• Establish and maintain design systems across NMI’s product offerings.

• Evaluate designs against competitors to discover areas for enhancement.

• Leverage AI tools such as v0, Cursor, and Figma AI to expedite prototyping, synthesize research, and investigate design alternatives.

• Revise design-focused customer engagement materials, assist in conference planning, and support special projects.

• Work in collaboration with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to pinpoint opportunities and convert user insights into scalable design solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in designing B2B digital products and systems.

• A robust portfolio that demonstrates the design process, diversity of work, and impact.

• Knowledge of financial products, APIs, or transaction systems, preferably in payment gateways or comparable B2B SaaS platforms.

• Proven ability to collaborate across functions and effectively communicate design decisions and processes.

• Excellent verbal and visual presentation skills with a clear perspective on design choices.

• Capability to distill complex technical and payment concepts into intuitive user experiences.

• Expertise in Figma with experience in building and maintaining design systems.

• Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and their implementation in regulated payment workflows.

• Proven practical experience using AI tools such as v0, Cursor, ChatGPT, Midjourney, or similar; this is a required skill.

• Experience in conducting user research and usability testing, translating insights into actionable design solutions.

• Successful completion of background and financial checks is necessary for employment.

• Must have the legal right to work in the United States, where applicable.
