Senior Product Designer

📋 Description

• Conceptualize and refine essential product features by leveraging data, research insights, and product thinking to create and realize your vision.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional partners, researchers, analysts, and fellow designers to deliver and refine design solutions that are strategic, well-considered, and impactful for both customers and the business.

• Elevate the quality and craftsmanship of design work through systems thinking, workflows, information architecture, content strategy, product reasoning, wireframing, and prototyping.

• Communicate your solutions effectively and present them to stakeholders, facilitating productive discussions on feasibility, scope, and requirements to advance projects.

• Enhance our capacity to formulate hypotheses, conduct experiments, iterate, and learn rapidly through design artifacts and structured decision-making—especially vital in an era when ideas are plentiful and creating interfaces with AI is straightforward.

• Meet and engage with your cross-functional team, fellow designers and researchers, and key stakeholders.

• Grasp the company mission and vision, business model, and the current state of the product.

• Acquaint yourself with our design tools, Product org documentation, research processes, and user insights.

• Participate in product team meetings and sprint cycles, beginning with assisting other designers on ongoing projects and taking part in critiques.

• Fully immerse yourself in your role, navigating the design process to enhance live experiences and develop your design strategy aligned with business objectives.

• Build a relationship with our Partner design lead and gain insight into the broader vision for the overall Partner experience.

• Collaborate closely with teammates, designers, and researchers to define and scope projects, identify dependencies, and make confident design decisions supported by evidence.

• Deliver solutions to increasingly complex challenges, beginning to address the long-term evolution of the experience within your area of focus.

• Take the lead in your area on the product team, identifying enhancements to workflows and improving collaboration methods.

• Spot opportunities and propose solutions using persuasive storytelling, concept design, prototypes, and a deep understanding of both business objectives and user needs.

• Provide constructive and thoughtful feedback to fellow designers, collaborating for the collective benefit of the team.

• Contribute to enhancing design tools and processes, helping upskill or cross-train as necessary while receiving training in return.

• Proven success in driving impact toward business objectives by leading design for complex projects.

• Strong understanding of all major product areas, identifying patterns across the platform, and contributing to the Partner design lead’s vision across the Niche product suite.

• Act as a mentor and support system for junior designers.

• You have designed and launched product features that customers adore, for both mobile and desktop, and can explain the journey from product strategy to pixel-level decision-making.

• You can seamlessly integrate data, research insights, business goals, technical constraints, and customer needs into well-crafted solutions (mockups, prototypes, and flows).

• You iterate quickly, ensuring you gather feedback from users and stakeholders, using strategic reasoning to guide your decisions.

• You take pride in utilizing your design skills to enhance clarity and simplicity in both processes and products.

• You have experience working within cross-functional product teams in an agile setting.

• You are a collaborative team player, eager to explore new ideas and learn, comfortable with ambiguity and committed to continuous process improvements.

• Bonus if you have experience in any of the following: marketing automation for non-power users, generating AI-driven copy that saves time while conveying depth and sentiment, or educating others on information architecture/content strategy and their role in informing UI decisions.
