Senior Product Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Create deliverables in the format that best supports the team and engineering, whether that be annotated flowcharts, coded prototypes, LLM-generated specifications with design system context, or Figma files for polished developer references. Ensure that all files handed off to engineering are thorough, precise, and aligned with our design system.

• Tackle challenging problems within your product area and provide solutions that appear straightforward. Our users engage with intricate financial data and workflows, where the complexity resides in the craftsmanship rather than the interface.

• Play a key role in enhancing the UX of AI-driven features throughout our product suite, including proactive recommendations, generative summaries, and predictive insights. Ensure that the elements of trust and transparency are correctly addressed so that these features are perceived as reliable by enterprise customers rather than opaque.

• Perform research and analyze product metrics to identify genuine user requirements and evaluate the effectiveness of your designs. Engage directly with customers, conduct rapid tests, and utilize research as a tool for accelerating development instead of as a bottleneck.

• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to synchronize on strategy and guarantee that design execution fulfills both business objectives and user needs. Take ownership of the design relationship within your product area from start to finish.

• Continuously enhance and broaden our design system, championing consistency and pattern reuse across the product suite. Work together with colleagues on the design team to provide and receive constructive feedback, thereby elevating the overall craftsmanship within the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of professional experience as a Product Designer, with a substantial portfolio showcasing completed work across the entire development lifecycle.

• Proven track record in designing for a complex B2B or Enterprise SaaS product, preferably in a data-intensive field.

• Proficient in contemporary design and prototyping tools. Expertise in Figma is essential, including experience with component libraries, auto-layout, and developer-ready handoff files. Familiarity with AI-powered tools (like LLMs, Cursor, Claude Code) is also crucial, even if you do not write production code.

• Experience in designing AI/ML-driven features with a strong focus on trust, explainability, and error handling.

• Proven ability to work independently and produce high-quality results without needing extensive guidance.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, along with strong visual skills, enabling you to effectively convey design choices to engineers, PMs, and executives.

• A portfolio that demonstrates in-depth UX thinking, clear user journeys, and a significant level of visual refinement.
