AI Native UI/UX Design Intern

• The Flexisaf Internship Program welcomes enthusiastic, creative, and energetic individuals eager to enhance their technical skills in Design.

• You will engage in a self-directed learning approach, executing tasks and completing projects aligned with a well-organized and curated Internship Program Curriculum and resources provided at no cost.

• Your development will be tracked and supervised throughout the cohort to ensure you stay on course and accountable.

• Throughout the program, you will collaborate with innovative and inspiring leaders through mentorship, gaining invaluable experience working on real-life solutions while also developing essential work-ready soft skills.

• This program is available to students pursuing SIWES placements, recent graduates looking for NYSC placement, graduates seeking Post-NYSC experience, students aiming for industry experience, or anyone interested in enhancing their skills and launching a career in tech.

⛳️ Requirements

• A solid understanding of Design Foundations, with practical knowledge of design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Studio (XD, Photoshop), etc.

• Basic familiarity with CSS, CSS extension languages (LESS, SASS), and CSS Preprocessor tools (for advanced UI/UX Interns).

• A foundational understanding of UI/UX design principles, design thinking, and human-centered design.

• Familiarity with Figma.

• A keen interest in user research, usability testing, and addressing real user challenges.

• A desire to learn about accessibility and inclusive design principles.

• Resourceful with a troubleshooting mindset while being results-oriented.

• A basic understanding of visual design, including layout, typography, color, spacing, and hierarchy.

• An openness to learning.

• The ability to collaborate effectively within a team is essential.

• A genuine interest in AI tools and their application in supporting UX research, ideation, writing, prototyping, and design evaluation.

• The capacity to apply knowledge acquired from computer science or software engineering courses to real-world challenges.
