This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with founders, product leaders, and other stakeholders to transform business objectives into delightful customer experiences.
• Oversee the design process from start to finish, including discovery and research, through interaction design and final execution, ensuring appropriate depth for each project.
• Make informed decisions when user requirements, technical limitations, and business objectives conflict.
• Work closely with clients, project managers, and engineers to establish direction and deliver high-quality results.
• Provide insights on design craftsmanship, processes, and industry trends, while keeping abreast of emerging technologies and design innovations.
• Proven experience in leading product design from strategy to production, creating work that resonates with customers and enhances business outcomes.
• Strong decision-making skills and understanding of processes, knowing when to delve into research and when to act swiftly.
• Solid foundation in UX principles throughout the entire discovery and design process, encompassing research, interaction design, user testing, and accessibility.
• Exceptional visual design skills across layout, typography, iconography, color, and motion, with the ability to elevate designs to a polished, production-ready standard.
• Outstanding communication and presentation abilities in written, visual, and verbal forms, with experience presenting directly to clients.
• Comfortable working closely with clients, project managers, and engineers, including managing expectations, resolving disagreements, and ensuring project alignment.
• Experience with startups or founding teams, adept at building from the ground up without predefined design frameworks or processes.
• Familiarity with U.S. clients (experience with European clients is a plus).
