Senior Product Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design process from initial concept through to implementation, which includes user research, wireframing, prototyping, visual design, and creating design specifications.

• Utilize user-centered design methodologies to develop solutions that are intuitive, accessible, and in line with user needs and business goals.

• Contribute to and uphold Filevine's design system, ensuring a consistent and scalable user experience across the platform.

• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, researchers, and various stakeholders to define requirements, refine solutions, and guarantee successful implementation.

• Offer guidance and mentorship to junior designers, review their design output, and assist in establishing best practices within the design team.

• Engage in and occasionally lead user research initiatives to validate design choices and gather insights for future enhancements.

• Evaluate user feedback and product metrics to uncover opportunities for improving existing features and user experiences.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in product design, ideally within SaaS, enterprise software, or legal technology sectors.

• A Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field; equivalent professional experience will also be considered.

• A robust portfolio showcasing UX/UI design capabilities, problem-solving skills, and experience in designing intricate workflows.

• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite), a solid understanding of design systems, and familiarity with front-end development concepts.

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, strong teamwork abilities, and the capability to both give and receive constructive feedback.

• Experience in designing for professional users and navigating complex workflows; knowledge of legal processes is advantageous.

• Preference for candidates based in the EST timezone to better support our team members in the EU.
