This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Perform comprehensive user research to gain insights into user needs, challenges, and behaviors, and share findings with the team.
• Utilize research findings to guide and validate design choices.
• Develop wireframes, as well as low- and high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and design patterns.
• Ensure quality, usability, and focus on edge cases.
• Offer design leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
• Manage complex design projects from initial concept to final delivery.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the design team.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to shape design strategy and vision.
• Organize ambiguous challenges, clarify trade-offs, and advocate for user-centric design.
• Predict the effects of design choices across workflows, teams, and product areas.
• Contribute to shared patterns, practices, design consistency, and design libraries.
• Create AI-enhanced workflows and product experiences.
• Establish guidelines for trust, transparency, and human oversight in intelligent capabilities.
• 5–7+ years of experience in product design.
• Demonstrated success in delivering effective user-centered design solutions.
• Expert proficiency in Figma along with related prototyping, wireframing, and collaboration tools.
• Experience working in fast-paced, agile settings and collaborating cross-functionally.
• Extensive knowledge of design principles, user-centered design methodologies, and information architecture.
• Strong visual design capabilities, including expertise in typography, color theory, and layout.
• Competence in articulating and presenting design concepts, rationale, and trade-offs.
• Ability to manage ambiguity, structure complex workflows, and link feature decisions to broader product patterns.
• Familiarity with the integration of AI in design workflows for ideation, synthesis, prototyping, content generation, and exploration.
• Judiciousness in determining when AI acceleration necessitates human evaluation, refinement, or validation.
• Experience with design systems and upkeep of design libraries.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Willingness to proactively embrace and responsibly utilize AI tools.
• Preferred: experience with complex enterprise-level B2B or B2C applications.
• Preferred: experience in designing AI-enhanced or machine learning product experiences.
• Preferred: understanding of trust, transparency, and human-centered interaction patterns in AI-enabled products.
