Senior Product Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the complete design process, guiding it from discovery to delivery for designated product areas.

• Deliver finalized UX and functional designs to an external creative agency for UI refinement.

• Influence product decisions prior to finalizing requirements by providing evidence and a clear rationale.

• Oversee multiple complex workstreams and remain adaptable as business priorities evolve.

• Establish research and usability practices, translating insights into actionable decisions for Product and Engineering.

• Recognize and help mitigate design debt and subsequent friction.

• Utilize AI tools like Figma Make or Claude to develop high-level, testable prototypes and expedite concept validation.

• Share knowledge, mentor colleagues, and enhance team processes.

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, seven Product Managers, and their respective engineering teams.

• Report directly to the Design Director.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years in product/UX design, demonstrating real ownership of intricate products along with a robust portfolio of completed work.

• Proficiency in Figma or similar design/prototyping tools.

• Ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced, engineering-focused environments with minimal daily oversight.

• Strong interaction and systems thinking skills, capable of untangling complex processes and designing for edge cases.

• Experience in establishing or contributing to a research practice where formal resources are limited.

• Outstanding communication and collaboration abilities, with a track record of working effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Proven experience in designing zero-to-one products, developing new platforms, or defining new product spaces.

• Practical experience utilizing AI tools like Figma Make, Claude, or similar for generating high-level prototypes and accelerating concept validation.

• Strongly preferred: experience in privacy, compliance, or another highly regulated/technical field.
