This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Develop Strategy and Vision: Partner with the product team to establish and enhance the strategy for customer support, ensuring it aligns with user requirements and Depop’s strategic objectives.
• Lead Vision-Aligned Design: Create experiences that simplify and improve Depop's customer support ecosystem, in accordance with our product vision. This includes areas such as our Help Centre, dispute resolution processes, and reporting features.
• Enhance In-App and Web Channels: Integrate qualitative and quantitative data to broaden and refine the support experience.
• Foster Cross-Functional Collaboration: Create tools and features that benefit not only the users but also our support agents. Collaborate closely with stakeholders to establish service design processes that enhance the user experience.
• Proven experience in designing user experiences for Web, iOS, and Android platforms.
• Strong understanding of UX and UI patterns for both mobile and desktop environments.
• Demonstrated expertise in end-to-end product design (UX & UI).
• Proficiency in UX/UI tools such as Figma, Sketch, etc.
• Effective skills in prototyping using tools like Figma, Protopie, Principle, or similar.
• A portfolio that showcases high-quality and thoughtful UX and UI work.
• Ability to translate user research, testing, and data insights into design guidelines.
• Capability to present compelling arguments for your design proposals.
• Preferred but not mandatory: Experience in service design methodologies, with the ability to map end-to-end user journeys across various channels and touchpoints, and design for both frontstage and backstage experiences.
• Proven problem-solving skills for complex interaction design challenges along with excellent visual design abilities.
• Capacity to design workflows and experiences that simplify complex actions into user-friendly interfaces.
• Understanding of e-commerce and/or marketplace dynamics, including platform-to-user, user-to-user, and user-to-platform interactions.
