Senior Product Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the complete design system, including the Figma component library, React component codebase, interaction patterns, tokens, and documentation.

• Develop, deploy, and maintain production-level React code while adhering to high standards of code hygiene, testing methodologies, and clear architectural practices.

• Establish the interaction and visual design language for Cherry's component library, ensuring that each component is meticulously crafted.

• Create components that are resilient, adaptable, and scalable, allowing teams to deliver cohesive experiences without the need to reinvent established patterns.

• Utilize design and engineering tools proficiently, including Figma or Pencil, as well as AI-assisted development tools.

• Serve as a bridge between design and engineering processes.

• Collaborate closely with our front-end engineering team in Turkey regarding component architecture, implementation, and code reviews.

• Develop the strategy for scaling Cherry's design system.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5-8+ years of experience in both product design and front-end engineering.

• In-depth expertise in React, with strong views on component architecture, testing, and code quality.

• Advanced skills in design tools such as Figma or Pencil, covering aspects like component design, variants, tokens, and design system management.

• A keen eye for visual and interaction design.

• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex.

• Solid understanding of front-end testing practices and code hygiene.

• Experience working collaboratively with distributed or international engineering teams.
